Brabyns Preparatory School’s team of junior athletes are already enjoying success as they participate in another exciting Cross Country Season.
Over the course of the Autumn & Spring terms, the children will compete in the Stockport Schools Cross Country League at Stockport Harriers’ Woodbank Park Athletics Stadium.
Last year Brabyns clocked up some impressive results in all age groups with a stand out performance by Archie who amassed race points over the season to see him placed first overall at the final presentation.
In addition to this, Archie also achieved great success as part of the Independent Schools Association Athletics programme. Competing against children a year older in his events, he raced through the ISA North qualifiers to reach the ISA National finals at Manchester Sport City in the summer term.
Brabyns P.E. Coordinator, Mrs Oatley is already in the process of developing the next batch of superstar runners who will be striving for Stockport League success!
