Brabyns Prep School & Nursery

At Brabyns Preparatory School and Nursery we pride ourselves on our warm family atmosphere in which all children are valued as individuals and are encouraged and inspired to reach their full potential within a disciplined yet caring environment.

We are committed to offering a first-class academic education within a forward-thinking and dynamic curriculum, in a way that is rewarding and engaging for children, parents and staff.

We offer a rich and diverse experience for the whole school community including a wide range of academic, sporting, language and performing arts opportunities, plus an extensive extra-curricular programme. Our ‘Forest School’ provides a lovely bridge between formal and informal learning, equipping the children with the skills they need to face uncertainty and change with courage and resilience.

Brabyns Nursery
At Brabyns, we have a long history of providing outstanding education. We believe that learning for young children should be a nurturing, rewarding and enjoyable experience in which they are able to explore, create and discover in a secure and happy environment.
School Holiday Provision
Brabyns’ Non Term Time provision enables us to provide holiday care, offering action-packed, fun-filled days for children aged 2 to 11 during the school holidays.
Senior School Preparation
The choice of senior school is hugely important and one which we take seriously. The staff at Brabyns have a wealth of experience in supporting and guiding families to choose the right senior school for their children, and preparing them for that process.

Wraparound
Care

Brabyns wraparound care offers full provision for our pupils from 7:30 am until 6 pm. Our wraparound care is managed in-house by school staff, offering our pupils and families close links, familiarity and a continuation of our school aims and ethos. It is available to all our children and is based in our Nursery and School hall.

Curricular

We firmly believe that the wider curriculum is just as important as the core curriculum in class. Developing the ‘whole-child’ is an essential part of the school’s role. We do this in a variety of ways, by supplementing the curriculum with trips and visitor workshops as well as residentials for children from Year 1-6.

There’s no hiding from the fact that it is February 14th tomorrow, so this morning #TeamBrabyns took a special trip out to ‘share the love’. We are so lucky to live and learn in such a great community and wanted to show our appreciation with some hand made (by the children) Valentine’s treats.
