Throughout our Autumn term, the children have been learning a variety of music skills and terminology through our Performing Arts sessions. We have listened and responded to a variety of different music genres and explored elements such as rhythmic patterns, tempo, dynamics and pitch through our musicianship sections.
A key highlight has been our exploration sessions where the children have stretched their creative muscles and explored riffing and improvisation using their voices, body percussion and tuned instruments.
Choir shone at this year’s ‘Winter Wonderland’ event in Marple. They performed with confidence, enthusiasm and Brabyns flare! We were all really proud of you!
The children from our Early Years Foundation Stage have also just beautifully performed their Christmas Nativity! They demonstrated some amazing speaking projection and some lovely singing and dancing. What a fabulous collection of stars they are!
