Brabyns Nursery Celebrate ‘World Nursery Rhyme Week’ – 14-18 November 2022

Brabyns Nursery are taking part in ‘World Nursery Rhyme Week’, from 14 – 18 November 2022.

The initiative, which was launched in 2013, promotes the importance of nursery rhymes in early childhood development and education, with a particular focus on how nursery rhymes boost early language and literacy skills.

Here are a few reasons why learning nursery rhymes are so important:

Our ‘Rhyme a Day’ challenge will focus on one nursery rhyme each day in the following order:

Monday 14 November The Big Ship Sails
Tuesday 15 November 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Wednesday 16 November Five Little Speckled Frogs
Thursday 17 November BINGO
Friday18 November Twinkle Twinkle
