Years 5 and 6 had an amazing time at Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire last month. From the moment they arrived and met their Groupie, Timo, they just knew it was going to be a great week (and it was!).
The weather was SO kind to them (we’ll forget the torrential rain on Friday!) all week and the activities fulfilled the objectives of the trip to a tee.
Teamwork, team building and challenge were the objectives of this multi-activity residential and, along the way, the children had lots of fun too!
On the ground: they solved problems; built buggies; completed trials whilst blindfolded; found hidden clues; learned survival skills and solved problems.
In the air: they flew like birds; climbed like monkeys and were as brave as lions.
On the water: they sailed their homemade rafts …… and sank!
In the evenings: they sang round a campfire; toasted marshmallows; played Cluedo with ‘real life’ suspects: travelled around the world and made films on mini iPads.
What a week! View some photos from our Residential here.
