The children in Year 3 have been working together to raise lots of money for our school charity of the year, the NSPCC.
The children decided they would like to hold a craft stall and worked hard to create lots of items to sell, including Hama bead pictures, jewellery and recycled origami boxes. The also took orders for personalised bracelets. It was lovely to see the children working as a team, helping each other to make the bracelets, designing the posters and organising the stall. They were in charge of the money and worked out how much the items cost and gave change as appropriate.
The children’s fundraiser was very successful, they made over £90 for the NSPCC and they learnt a lot of new skills as well.
