As part of Anti-bullying week the children of Year 1 have been learning about how we are all different, what bullying is and the different types of bullying.
Even though some of the language around the subject was challenging for them to understand, such as ‘physical’, ‘verbal’ and ‘social’ bullying, the children were able to discuss the different scenarios that they thought might be bullying.
The children watched videos that explained that being different was something to be proud of and not something to be afraid of. They all drew themselves and discussed their differences.
They also coloured in odd socks in support of Odd Socks Day that celebrates being unique!
