Year 4 have continued to ensure that in any group situation, they are maintaining both the Brabyns standards and their own expectations of themselves in order to be a true team player. Together, in their own words, they came up with a way to express and describe with clarity what it means to be part of a fully functioning team:
Embracing our strengths and challenges
Actively listening to each other
Motivating one another
Putting their skills and efforts into practice, Year 4 have thoroughly enjoyed opportunities this week to work together to solve problems in Maths, build dens in a Forest Activities lesson, listen and respond to children’s points of view in a debating session, tyre rolling eggs(!) and much more.
Certainly, the list of opportunities to be a team player both within and outside of lesson time is extensive, and we are again proud of Year 4 as they really do their best to embody the Brabyns values.
Well done team!
