Year 1 Perform Traditional Tales

In Drama, Year 1 have been learning how to characterise roles taken from Traditional Tales. 

We have looked at how we use our voice, movement and facial expression to make the characters come to life. Here are some photographs of The Billy Goats Gruff and the wicked Troll! Can you see who is playing which character?

The children enjoyed working at their improvisations so much that they performed them to their parents in the Year 1 class assembly.
