At Brabyns, we understand that joining the School for the first time can be unsettling for some. We place great emphasis on supporting all children and parents with this transition.
At the start of the year, around a third of the Nursery children were new to Brabyns and many found it difficult separating from their main carer, often needing support and encouragement from a familiar adult, the Nursery Practitioners.
Last week, the Nursery children confidently attended a trip to Build a Bear, Trafford Centre, demonstrating the increased confidence they have gained in just a few weeks. This was a tremendous achievement for them all. The trip was linked to our current Teddy Bears topic. They saw how the bears were made and each came home with their own bear! Well done to all our Nursery children!
