What do you like about being a teacher?
Through my time in education I encountered teachers who have shown me how learning can be fun and worthwhile. One teacher in particular helped me to gain the confidence in a subject to achieve my full potential. This inspired me to make teaching my future career as it became apparent that one teacher can make a difference to a child's life. I want to help all children meet their full potential.
What made you want to work at Brabyns?
After spending two university placements at Brabyns, I soon felt part of the community that the children, staff and parents create. I thoroughly enjoy the ethos of the school and feel as if I can thrive in this environment as well as bringing new ideas and technology into the School.
What are you looking forward to about working at Brabyns?
I already know my class and I am looking forward to helping the children to progress through Year 4 and getting to know them even better. As well as this, I am enthused by the extra sporting events at Brabyns and watching the children compete in various activities.
What hobbies do you have?
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time unwinding in the gym and catching up with friends.
An interesting fact about you!
When I was 8 I competed in a gymnastics competition and as a result I began training with the British gymnastics squad until I was 13.
