When you are a 5 year old child, there are many hurdles for you to jump over in the education and life skills arena. You are at that age when you are learning an immense amount of new things, that most older people take for granted.
The children of Year 1 all managed to become team players and leaders with varying degrees of success last week. Learning how to put their own behaviours and needs to one side, the children worked hard at following classroom rules, listening to instructions, trying their best and helping each other in order to achieve table points.
The table with the most points were awarded with a prize from the ‘Reward Box’ and everybody had their table points converted into House Points. Every child’s efforts and achievements made a difference and the atmosphere in the classroom was one of success.
