Year 3 have been extremely hard at work since returning to online classes once again. Every single member of the class have been amazing with their determination and resilience.
In English, we have been studying ‘The Egyptian Cinderella’ using our ever developing reading skills and progressed into writing character descriptions. Already in Maths, we have explored the use of column methods for addition and subtraction, inverse operations and rounding to the nearest hundred. We even plan to move on to fractions shortly!
Not only have our Year 3 children worked exceptionally well for their core subjects but they have also continued their studies for all of the foundation subjects to ensure a continuation of a well rounded education. For example, we have participated in live PE lessons; being creative in our Art lessons; giving back to our community in PSHE and continuously developing our Computing skills whilst working with GSuite.
In Topic especially, we have already done an amazing amount of work about the Ancient Egyptians and it has been extremely fun! We have looked at Pharaoh's, pyramids, hieroglyphics and we even had a go at mummifying some fruit. Take a look at some of the photos to see what amazing things we have been up to!
A massive well done to everybody in Year 3. Keep up the fantastic work.
