Please see the weekly menu below. The menu is on a 4 week cycle, with occasional alterations. Our 'Winter' menu runs from the start of the Autumn 2 half-term to Easter, with our summer menu running from Easter until the end of the Autumn 1 half-term. we also have regular taster days and theme days.
Our Catering Team is led by Mrs Bailey. She has worked at Brabyns for over 10 years and has worked in schools kitchens for the majority of her working career. She knows all of our children and their catering preferences. Having seen lots of children come through from Nursery she has the innate ability to persuade them to try new foods and is aware of what they have eaten in the past!
Mrs Bailey is often the first person at school in the morning, preparing for the day, running a catering club for the children before school, as well as providing toast for the children at break time.
During lunchtime, the staff on duty encourage the children to eat their meals and also to help them choose appropriate food groups. The same member of staff is usually working all week, meaning they can help ensure there is a balance each day.

Catering Guidelines & Policies
Wraparound Care Food
In Early Birds the children are offered fruit, cereal and a bread product (eg toast or croissant) with various accompaniments. There is breakfast juice, water or milk to drink. We also other options on occasions.
Food is available up until 8:15am.
Stay & Play
In Stay & Play, the snack is normally a finger type food, eg a sandwich, vegetable sticks, cheese etc. It may also be food from earlier in the day. Fruit is always available.
Food is usually served at around 4:45pm.
