We are having a great year as School Captains. We feel very proud to have been voted for by the children and teachers to be Captains as it must mean they thought we would be good at it and hopefully we are living up to their expectations! One of our favourite things has been talking to new parents on the tours Mr Sanders does and talking to them all about our School. We like all the responsibilities we have, it is good being a role model and hopefully setting the example of how other children see how they should behave and work.
Life in Year 6 is brilliant, you get to do so many things. We recommend you always do your best and are sensible, you certainly need to be prepared to work hard, but we have lots of fun as well. All Year 6 children have different roles, and it is great to be the oldest children that everyone else looks up to.
What we do in School is always so varied. We enjoyed a great debate recently and have another one coming up which we are inviting our parents to. We also do exciting things in Science, and great Art work as well as enjoyable and challenging Maths and English lessons. We could name everything!
We still have so much to look forward to; like our residential to Llandudno, Celebration Night and the Leaver’s Assembly and Party, as well as Life Skills and a First Aid Course.
Being Captains is certainly something we are very proud of, and will remember for ever. Life in Year 6 is probably our best year yet! We will miss Brabyns lots.
