Brabyns was buzzing the week of 15-19 April 2024 as @wewillrockyouproject took over the school; incorporating beats and baselines with songs and signing, allowing every single member of the Brabyns family to get their groove on!
During the week every child, from our smallest Little Learners to Year 6 enjoyed a variety of workshops using a range of popular instruments including guitars, keyboards, drums and vocals. Each class worked together to learn a full song by artists such as Taylor Swift, Bob Marley, ACDC, Queen and Shakira forming ‘supergroups’ to showcase their talents in front of parents friends and family at the end of the week.
This immersive initiative was made possible by our fabulous parent society and the commitment, hard work and talent of Chris, Chris and @siobhanwatersmusic from the project. Oh, and of course our amazing children – who embraced every moment and provided a stunning final performance showcasing their talents!
