Welcome from Mr Lee Sanders, Head Teacher

Welcome to the schools' Website. It is designed as an information base for parents of children who already attend the school, parents who are considering the school for their children, pupils, former pupils and current members of staff, along with anybody else who may have an interest in the school.

Brabyns is an independent co-educational day school for children aged between 2½ and 11 years. We pride ourselves on our family atmosphere in which everybody is valued as an individual and is encouraged and inspired to reach their full potential within a disciplined yet caring atmosphere.

We are committed to offering a first class, academic education within a forward-thinking

curriculum, in a way that is rewarding for children, parents and staff. We offer a rich and diverse experience for the whole school community. The school offers a wide range of academic, sporting, language and performing arts opportunities, including an extensive extra-curricular programme.

Excellence and enjoyment are at the heart of an education that encompasses academic study, leadership, cultural pursuits, communication and excellent pastoral care. It is our aim to develop young people to enable them to realise their potential and contribute fully to the world in which they grow up.

We value our working partnership with parents and feel it is important that home and school work collaboratively in order to assist children in the pursuit of excellence. Parents are encouraged to make contact with their child's Form Teacher if there are points they would like to raise on any aspect of the school.

Having become a GEMS managed school in June 2004, we are in the enviable position of having their expert team at our disposal. In addition, our ethos has been further enhanced by the core values that provide a further framework to guide pupils towards being happy, successful and fulfilled.
